Did George do the right thing by killing Lennie?
          By: Rebekkah Morgan
Was Lennie really a bad guy?

Honestly I don't believe Lennie was a bad guy the man was mental and very alone the only person who understood him was his friend George the man didn't understand how strong he was even though he hurt tiny animals by petting them.

Was George in the wrong by killing a man who didn't understand?

In my head I feel like George was in the wrong by killing a helpless man but in other cases if George didn't kill Lennie then the other men would have killed him by themselves without thinking twice.

Why did George kill Lennie and how did he do it?

George killed Lennie by finding him out in the woods and talking to him softly the man knew Lennie killed the women by he understood that it wasn't all his fault it was part of Curley's ' Farm wife ' fault I believe the women knew that Lennie had some problems and wanted to test him and see what could happen.

Manhunt for Murder in Soledad, California ! STILL AT LARGE!

A ranch in Soledad California was rocked to its core this Sunday when a woman was murdered in cold blood! The victim, who's name has not been released to the public yet, was a resident at the ranch and the wife of the ranch's bosses son, Curley .

The victim (pictured below) was discovered in one of the ranches barns by the bunkhouses "swamper" , Candy , when he entered the barn to talk the accused murderer, Lennie Small. What he found was the dead corpse of the wife of Curley, neck snaped, and a dead puppy, both halfway covered in hay.

Candy quickly rushed to the rest of the ranch hands, who has just finished their game of horseshoe, telling them of the tragic event and leading them  back to the barn, where they looked upon in horror

We briefly talked to the victims husband, Curley, before he fled on horseback, searching for the supposed murderer, Lennie Small. Here is what he had to share: "I'm goin'," "I'm gonna shoot the guts outta that big bastard my self, even if I only got one hand. I'm gonna get I'm"

Curley had previously injured his hand in a accident with a piece of farming equipment, hence why he referred to himself as only having one hand. His injured hand was in a cast and sling.

Here is an image of the supposed murderer , Lennie Small, along side his companion, George Milton. The two had been traveling with each other for an undisclosed amount of time previous to the event. All that is know at the moment is that they were both involved in an incident in Weed, California, the details of which are unknown at the current time.

If you are aware of or could offer any clues about the location of Lennie Small, please contact you local police department or other law enforcement agency as soon as possible

Soft things "Of Mice and Men"

by: Antonio Ovalle
In John Steinbeck's  number 1 best-selling, award winning novel, "Of  Mice and Men" He had a symbol which were soft things. Lennie loves to touch soft things to keep him happy. But things go wrong.

One example is when Lennie grabbed a woman's red dress because it was soft. The lady screamed and ran for help, to cause George and Lennie to be kicked out of Weed.

Another is when Lennie wanted to touch Curley's wife's hair near the end of the book. He then started messing her hair up and he didn't, so she freaked out. Thus causing Lennie to end her life.

The last one is when Lennie was petting his puppy Slim gave him. He started to pet the puppy to hard and ended up killing it. Lennie then decided to hide the puppy in the hay.

Did George do the right thing by killing Lennie?

By: Brooklyn Ashley & Abblique Bradford

Was Lennie a bad guy?

I don't believe that Lennie was a bad guy. He honestly didn't know what he was doing. He had the mind of a child and the strength of a bull. He didn't understand that some of the things he was did was bad and he didn't know how strong he was.

What were some of the bad things Lennie did?

First he pet the back of a girls dress because it was soft. Then he killed innocent animals like mice by petting them too hard. After that, he crushed Curley's hands but only because he was beating him up and George told him too. Then Lennie was talking to Curley's lonely, mistreated wife and she told him to feel how soft her hair is. Lennie wouldn't stop petting her hair and started to hurt her. Lennie freaked her out and she started to scream, it made Lennie freak out and he accidentally broke her neck and killed her.

Why did he kill Lennie and how did he do it?

George killed Lennie because Lennie killed Curley's wife on accident. Curley and a lot of other guys from the ranch were on a hunt to find Lennie and to kill him, but George got to him first. George didn't want Curley and the guys on the ranch to torture Lennie or anything, so George told Lennie his favorite story and made him look out into the distance and George shot him in the head. I think George did the right thing by killing him because he was happy and didn't feel anything when George killed him.

Mentally Challenged Man Hunted For Murder

Young Ranch Worker Finds Wife Dead While Competing in Horseshoe Tournament

By: Aiden Jones

It was a normal Sunday afternoon and a group of ranch workers were competing in a horseshoe tournament. A ranch worker named Curley was competing in this tournament when a co-worker runs out screaming that his wife is dead. A mentally challenged man is to blame.

The mentally challenged man had broken the neck of Curley's wife, stolen a pistol, then fled into the forest. It is believed that the man had also been connected to the attack of a women in Weed a few weeks before.

Lennie Smalls, a Californian resident, had a history of killing small animals like mice and puppies but hadn't gone as far as murder, until now. "He never done it to be mean" said an eyewitness who claimed to be a friend of the murderer.

Everyone working at the ranch readied their horse and prepared to hunt him down. "We are prepared to shoot and kill him if he doesn't surrender" said Curley.
